Society for Early Modern French Studies PGR/ECR Conference Paper Award
SEMFS is delighted to announce a new competition for the best paper delivered by a PGR student or ECR colleague at its annual conference.
The competition is open to PGR students enrolled in postgraduate research programmes and Early Career Researchers within 5 years of the award of their PhD.
The Award will be judged by a sub-committee made up of members of the Executive Committee, including the Chair. Papers will be judged on their academic merit, which might include depth, breadth, ambition, and precision. The judges’ decision is final. The Award will be announced within 1 week of the end of the conference. Winners will be announced on the Society’s website and will receive one year’s free membership of SEMFS.
Awards will be made only in years when there are at least five eligible conference papers.
